Starke & Co. (P) Ltd. was originally established in 1938 by late Mr. R.N Sehgal. Since its early years the company's motives were to provide various existing industries in the country with all specific raw materials i.e. minerals and chemicals , and also provided various industries with know how in Northern India to establish themselves, ceramic industry being one of them. The company always has been involved in tracking the various changes in the Industry and made a sincere effort towards introducing innovative methods of production with latest minerals & chemicals. The second generation entered the same business in 1963, Mr. Baldev Raj Sehgal and Mr. Man Mohan Sehgal being the directors. Completing its golden jubilee in 1988, the company was on the track of rapid growth, under the management of its directors.

Ever since its foundation the Company has been involved and has been a vital part of the Ceramic Industry. The company employees also have been consistently involved in, providing technical assistance to the Ceramic Industry. From its early stages, the company was involved with the Pottery and Ceramic artist to introduce various innovative method of production. Entering the 21st century, we have experienced, that various studio artists, potters and hobbiest have started taking a keen interest in conceptual pottery. We have committed ourselves to provide all standardized products and services to these artists and studio potters. We will be introducing new products and services to make pottery a whole new concept, in the near future.
